That's my gut reaction. I'd -like- to think my rational side would prevail and attempt to educate, like the women two tables down from the actress who said that she had a legal right and that he had crossed the line. Especially when it was the teen mother. She needed more support. Even the mother drinking the beer. I don't approve of alcohol consumption in general, and it's certainly not beneficial to the baby, but I'm not sure that one beer with lunch would be explicitly harmful to the child after it gets through her metabolism. It could be! But I don't know the facts for sure. That guy seemed to, or pretended to. I say pretended because for someone putting himself forward as being informed on the nutritional aspects of nursing, he's not really taking her side on NIP. I know not everyone educated on BF is pro-NIP, so I could be wrong there, but usually, if you're going to learn that much, you'll tend to be pro. In general though, I enjoyed all three segments of the show, from domestic violence intervention to NIP to child abandonment. They all really made me think about my own advocacy and perceptions.
